Job Description

  • Keeping informed on technical product specifications and functionalities.
  • Developing a sales strategy and setting sales targets.
  • Consulting with IT developers and management on product offerings.
  • Identifying marketing opportunities and developing sales leads.
  • Assessing potential clients’ IT needs and recommending products.
  • Preparing and delivering sales pitches and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiating sales and service renewal contracts, as well as discounts and warranties.
  • Initiating after-sales technical support based on client requirements and feedback.
  • Tracking sales targets and documenting sales performance metrics.
  • Ensuring competitiveness by analyzing and researching industry trends.


• 6 – 8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to lead a customer through the sales process, determining needs, and closing the sale
• Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, including hardware, software, and IT services
• Comprehensive business knowledge to create realistic sales projections and objectives for the team
• Interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments and people within the organization
• Extensive mentoring and leadership qualities to train and develop sales team members
• Ability to lead by example and act with integrity.  Exceptional communication skills to provide leadership to a team and support customers
