Job Description

This role is for an American multinational computer technology corporation headquartered in Austin, Texas.The company sells database software and technology, cloud engineered systems, and enterprise software products—particularly its own brands of database management systems. The company also develops and builds tools for database development and systems of middle-tier software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Human Capital Management (HCM) software, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (AKA customer experience), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) software.

Contract – 36 months

Your Responsibilities:

As an integral part of the support team you will be responsible for the following:

  • Production support of  Automated real-time Anti-money laundering transaction monitoring System
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer’s Anti-Money Laundering program, policies and procedures, and requirements.
  • Execute the accurate processing of different types of alerts in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Suggest process improvements to achieve improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Providing training to the team members and solving the day-to-day Business queries
  • Prepare and deliver reports in line with key deliverables
  • Knowledge/prior exposure to Incident/Problem/Change Management.
  • Participate in Major incidents including tasks related to identifying and basic troubleshooting Infrastructure and application issues proactively
  • Provide RCA for Major Incidents as required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents
  • Participate in emergency service and disaster recovery activities
  • Willing to work on shifts and on-calls
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work under pressure and think analytically

Your Qualifications:

  • Any Computer Science based graduation
  • 5+ years of experience in IT
  • Hands on experience in Java related technologies
  • Knowledge in SEPA Payments Domain

  • Software engineering experience and good knowledge of one or more programming languages

  • Java programming preferred with exposure to Java and Web technologies
  • Experience in Filebeat, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana
  • Experience in MongoDB
  • Knowledge  or Exposure to Apache Grafana, Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache ZooKeeper, NGINX webserver
  • Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of industry technologies for storage, networking, and processing
  • Basic knowledge of working in Linux environments
  • Experience with Application Servers and Web Servers
  • Exposure to  cloud related technologies
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
